March has been a major build and expansion phase for the UK Convictions Index, with continued growth, structural refinement, and wider coverage across datasets.
The index has increased from 1,207 to 1,957 recorded cases.
This increase reflects ongoing discovery, validation, and integration across both BF (police/CPS confirmed) and PH (community-sourced) entries. The focus remains fixed: accuracy, traceability, and usable structure.
Card System Update
A full card system refresh has been rolled out across the index.
Layout structure, tag positioning, summary flow, and metadata display have all been tightened to improve scan speed and readability across both desktop and mobile.
Multi-defendant and operation-linked cases are now grouped more clearly, while still preserving individual case integrity.
Map System & Coverage
The convictions map continues to expand alongside the index and remains a core navigation layer.
BF and PH entries are now separated visually, with continued improvements to location cleaning and police force mapping to increase accuracy and consistency across all pins.

Work remains ongoing. Entries are continuously added, checked, structured, and aligned across datasets.
