1️⃣ Barthimaus Ehiemere, 25 — Jailed (Snaresbrook Crown Court)

Sentenced to 18 years for 47 offences against seven boys (rape, grooming, distribution of abuse images). Groomed via apps and sold illegal material.

2️⃣ Ahmad Mulakhil, 23 — Guilty Plea (Warwick Crown Court)

Admitted rape of a child under 13. Plea confirmed on 21 Nov.

Man pleads guilty to rape of girl, 12, in case that sparked anti-asylum protests
Ahmad Mulakhil changes his plea at Warwick crown court, admitting single charge of rape of a child under 13

Mulakhil is an Afghan national. He had earlier denied abducting a child. He also denied three counts of rape and two counts of sexual assault of a child under 13. This occurred at a hearing on 28 August.

Gary Shields travelled from his home in Scotland after arranging to meet the victim in Penwortham, Lancashire.

4️⃣ Gene Neville Wright — Jailed (North Yorkshire)

A man has been jailed for 18 years for historic sexual offences against a woman and four girls.

Between 1996 and 2011, Gene Neville Wright subjected the victims to a number of incidents of sexual assault. The abuse included the rape of the woman, and sexual assault and indecent assault towards the four girls.

5️⃣ Michael Mitchell — Imprisoned (Cambridgeshire)

A man found with more than 270 sexual images and videos involving children and babies has been sent to prison and placed on the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years.

Michael Mitchell’s collection of sexual imagery was discovered when police raided his home in Blenheim Close, Shepreth, South Cambridgeshire, on 5 March last year.

Police searched devices owned by the 24-year-old and found category A images – the worst level of offending – in his recently deleted folder. years.
